If used for training purposes, and the Airsoft model’s real weapon counterpart has weapon lights, modular weapon sights, lasers or other rail mounted accessories, do “Airsoft” versions exists for your choice of model? Are those models functioning like the real thing or are they just purely cosmetic? Are they readily mounted to the base model Airsoft weapon or, are modifications such as the addition of rail systems required?
- Realism – If selecting Airsoft weaponry for self defense or law enforcement type training, does the model that you wish to select closely match the operation of the real article? That is to say, are features such as safety catches, charging handles/cocking mechanisms, magazine releases, slide releases and de-cockers in the same position and, do they operate in the same manner as that of their real counterparts?
